Leven Links GC - Large Water Well

Early in 2022, Hydracrat Ltd were appointed by Leven Links Golf Course to investigate the potential for a new borehole to supply groundwater to satisfy their course irrigation requirements.

Dalquhandy Wind Farm Project

The comprehensive ground investigation package included rotary probe, open-hole and core drilling through Opencast backfill up to 60mbgl. The programme also included trial pits, geophysical survey transects, plate bearing tests, laboratory testing and the felling of a decommissioned met mast.

Ravenscraig Geo-Environmental Investigation
In 2017, Hydracrat Ltd won a competitive tender on quality, ingenuity and price and was duly appointed by Ravenscraig Ltd under the technical guidance of SWECO as Principle Contractor to undertake a geo-environmental investigation at the former Ravenscraig Steel Works in Lanarkshire.
M8 M74 M73 Improvement Works: 2014-2016
In July 2014, Hydracrat Ltd was employed by Ferrovial Lagan Joint Venture to undertake the Mining Investigation on a large infrastructure project between Airdrie and Glasgow for a new and upgraded motorway section of the M8, M74 and M73 motorways in Central Scotland.
Borders Railway Project: 2013-2014
In May 2013, Hydracrat Ltd were employed by Cementation Skanska as part of a BAM lead project team to undertake the Mining Investigation on a large infrastructure project South of Edinburgh for the new Borders Railway Project to recommence rail journeys from the Borders region to the capital
Broken Cross Deep Boreholes & Piezometer Installations

Hydracrat Ltd was employed by Scottish Coal Company Ltd to undertake a programme of deep boreholes and piezometer installations at Broken Cross Opencast Coal Mine in Ayrshire to depths up to 190m for the exploration and monitoring of the underlying strata and water table.
