Hydracrat offer specialist services to the Geotechnical sector. Our fleet of rotary rigs includes medium duty tracked rigs with towable compressors, lorry mounted rigs for 'drive-on' projects and multiple low ground pressure rigs and support vehicles.
With decades of experience in some of the UKs most challenging drilling environments, our staff are capable of excellent production rates utilising our self-sustained rigs and support vehicles on isolated sites including peat bogs, mountain sides and beyond. Our air flush drilling system utilises high performance on-board compressors to minimise auxiliary plant and water requirements ensuring we do not reduce production when working remotely from roads, hydrants, etc. On-board hydraulic core extruders negate the need for core liner and reduce the risk of losing core and with decades of experience of retrieving high quality, high percentage core recovery, Hydracrats team of lead drillers will ensure maximum possible recovery of your valuable samples. Our unique plant and approach to challenging site locations has aided us in our increasing presence in the expanding renewables market amongst others.
We can also offer water flush and air mist flush capabilities when your project requires it. Our work on mineral stability projects has seen a vast rise in the requirement for water flush drilling to comply with Coal Authority Regulations when in close proximity to residential properties.
Senior management at Hydracrat have also been instrumental in the successful planning and execution of the companies exploits over its history and are always happy and willing to give expert, no obligation advice towards project planning and resource selection in order for you to achieve maximum efficiency and value for money from your investigation. Our recent project profiles range from single borehole projects to large infrastructure schemes utilising multiple rigs over several months.
